When you unpack the body, you simply wear it like you would clothes. It covers your system avatar completely to mid-neck. There are a lot of good suggestions for makers in the thread. When you buy a skin for it, get a good reputable one like from WOW Skins or The Skinnery (just two that come to mind) for the body AND your mesh head.
