I don't know if the prius has a sensor on the parking brake. usually they are ground based (connect to ground when the brake is on) anyhow.. if there IS a ground based sensor, then you will have to install a relay which switches. You need to tap into the ground wire. It might be difficult to tap right at the connector so you can simply follow the wires further up for better access. Place a switch in between the light green parking brake wire and a good ground. Toggle the switch on twice to access all of the functions.
