Only the audio return channel is an output. a soundbar (or receiver) has HDMI and/or optical inputs and if it has an HDMI output it may be ARC capable. Again only the ARC channel on the HDMI output is an input and it is only connected to the audio input of the soundbar/receiver to be delivered to the speakers.
